Lifeline Workshops Inc. respects your privacy. We do not collect personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily provide it, such as when you provide email contact information to subscribe to the Lifeline Workshops Inc. email list, send feedback to Lifeline Workshops Inc., register for workshops, programs, or courses, order materials, or respond to a survey. When you register for a workshop through us directly or through an external organizer working with us your contact information is shared between us and the external organizer. It may also be shared with the trainer or facilitator of the event you have registered for. When a third party such as an employer registers you in a program or event hosted by us or an external organizer of our programs or events they may provide your contact information to us or the external organizer and we assume that they have your permission to do so. We may contact you to provide information pertinent to the event or workshop you registered for, or about billing, changes to programs, or to inform you about other related events or programs that may be offered in the future. We assume that when you provide your email address to us when corresponding to us you are giving us permission to contact you via email at that address. If you voluntarily provide your email address or other contact information, we might also use it to inform you of changes to Lifeline Workshops Inc., to inform you about our products and/or services, to survey you about your use or opinion of Lifeline Workshops Inc., or to ask for your support. At your request, we will remove your contact information from our files. We primarily use the email contact information you provide to communicate with you with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account or with automated services such as registering for a workshop or course or about aspects of on-line course experiences such as being able to access course materials, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to provide information, products and/or services, and/or for billing and collections purposes. You always have the option to opt out of any such communications at any time.

We do not make your contact information or any other personally identifiable information available to anyone outside Lifeline Workshops Inc. or its service providers (who use the information only for authorized Lifeline Workshops Inc. purposes) unless we are legally required to do so or unless we have your express permission to do so.

Our on-line courses are hosted on the Thinkific platform and your data may be stored through Thinkific's data storage, databases and the general Thinkific applications. Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways  used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. We employ third party security applications and other applications to enable us to provide timely responses to questions and to enable you to register for programs and pay for programs. Third-party services, such as Google Analytics or other applications offered through the Wix.com that allow us to create forms for things like registering for a workshop or requesting information or ordering products may place cookies or utilize other tracking technologies through Wix´s services, may have their own policies regarding how they collect and store information. 

In addition to the above, we collect certain anonymous (non-personally identifiable) information to help us improve the Lifeline Workshops Inc. web site and to evaluate the access and use of Lifeline Workshops Inc. materials and the impact of Lifeline Workshops Inc. on the worldwide educational community.

We collect information you provide about your use of and satisfaction with Lifeline Workshops Inc. through email you send us, through the Lifeline Workshops Inc. feedback form, and through Lifeline Workshops Inc. surveys, whether or not you voluntarily include your contact information.

We may use web analysis tools that are built into the Lifeline Workshops Inc. web site to measure and collect anonymous session information.

We also use “cookies” to improve your Lifeline Workshops Inc. web experience and to collect anonymous information about how you use Lifeline Workshops Inc.. Payments made to us through our web site are generally in the form of PayPal transactions and subject to the security and privacy policies of PayPal. Payments made to us in other formats such as e-transactions are likewise subject to the security and privacy policies of the financial entity. All payments made directly or indirectly to us are handled with strict confidentiality. We do not share your personal or banking details with anyone other than our  banking institution. 

 

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
